I doubt the world will ever see the likes of the 50's and 60's ever again. The world was coming out of the war and also out of it;s shell. So many inovations that were to make life so different in so many ways. A clothing revolution as well as a musical one, greater freedom, the pill, TV, cars for all who wanted one, and the begining of global travel for others than Merchant seamen. Will the generation of today ever experience such changes?

Was new to the world personally in 55, but was dragged up on this kinda stuff.

May explain my wide and diverse taste in music.

My dad was always nose deep in a cowboy novel book wise and played all sorts on the record player:

From: Scottish military music and the bag pipes to Irish Classics, Welsh traditional to Pomp and Circumstance.

Shirley Bassey to Tammy Wynette.

And some C**t from Preston, sorry Country and Western.

He even had some 78's that as kids we wrecked.

Those were the days, so I have always been told.
